QMHS International Night

"In Ghana, when someone is born, we celebrate it by dancing and drumming," Kojjo Opoku-Reeves of Heritage Village Project, a drumming ensemble, told the audience of Quantico Middle/High School's (QM/HS) International Night April 21. "When someone reaches puberty, we celebrate it by dancing and drumming. When someone gets married, we celebrate it by dancing and drumming. And when someone dies, we celebrate by … dancing and drumming. All transitions in life are celebrated by dancing and drumming."
