Fort Campbell High School's Model United Nations came away from the Indiana University Model United Nations (IUMUN) Conference, Feb. 24-26, with the most awards team members have ever earned at a conference. The IUMUN is considered one of the premiere high school MUN conferences in the entire Midwest.

Thirty four students, the largest group ever from FCHS, participated at the conference. The FCHS program began as an after school club with eight students. Now the FCHS MUN consists of two full academic classes and a traveling team, with 43 students involved.

"Ms. Kesha Ladd and I are so very proud of our students," said Mr. Kenneth Jankowski, FCHS MUN adviser. "Our students were very active within their committees including: debate, resolution writing, amending resolutions, passing directives and many even wrote and had their own resolutions passed. We had a total of 12 award winners."
