On April 5, 2017 Antilles High School held a Fine Arts Festival. Mrs. Ivonne López, the Drama teacher, and Mrs. Zahira Díaz, Military Counselor, organized the AHS Fine Arts Festival. The students' performed in the areas of Choir, Band, Dance, Singing, and Acting. The choir presented the songs 'We Know the Way, You're Welcome, and Someone like You.' A theatre director, actress, and cinematographer, Pamela Luquis did a drama workshop with the audience. Students, Karla Rivera and Karis Concepción, sang for their peers. Two 9th grade students, Adriana and Andrea Ramos danced an exquisite piece of contemporary ballet.

The highlight of the program was the presentation by two talented young men: Christopher Santana (AHS 2009) and Edgar García, better known as 'Black Rhythm Beatboxer.' A group of 17 students took a makeup workshop with the talented Mr. Yamil Ortiz, makeup artist and theatre director from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. A representative from Escuela de Artes Plásticas in San Juan gave an art workshop for the students. Last but not least, the AHS Band performed 'America the Beautiful, Star Spangled Banner, and 1812 Overture.' At the end of their performance, the students went to the AHS courtyard and listened to peers singing and watched a belly dance routine. Other drama students also performed.
