The primary mission of the Teaching and Learning Division is to establish a systemic plan for educational professional learning within DoDEA that aligns to the DoDEA Blueprint for Continuous Improvement and supports curriculum, instruction, assessments, and programs.
The Teaching and Learning Division is comprised of the following three branches:
Teaching and Learning is committed to utilizing and integrating all resources and roles to include: DoDEA HQ, Centers for Instructional Leadership (CILs), districts, and local schools that support professional learning. Branches within the Teaching and Learning Division use student level data to create plans for professional learning for all educators (administrators and teachers) that is coherent, builds system capacity, is aligned to standards, and has a focus on improving teaching and learning that raises achievement and closes gaps.
