On Thursday, April 22nd, the Kaiserslautern Middle School Running Club celebrated Earth Day by going plogging.  Plogging is the combination of jogging and picking up litter.  They were quite successful!  In only 40 minutes, they collected 16 pounds of litter.  The collection occurred on the KMS campus, on the route through housing to the pedestrian bridge, and in the area around the bridge.  All trash was sorted into appropriate recycling categories and then disposed of properly.

Earth Day ploggers included Leo Schell, Naomi Kelly, Noemi Petrus, Tayrien Parnell, Oran Barker, Tycho Seebeck, Natalie Fassett, Gabriella Ramos, Addison Stotz, and club sponsors Jennifer Herringdine and Dr. Quintin Davis.
