Graduation Plans for Ansbach High School


ANSBACH, GERMANY — June 1, 2020 — In direct and close coordination with our local military partners, the decision was made to execute the following graduation plans for our 2020 high school seniors. Please feel free to reach out to the DoDEA contact above with any questions or to volunteer.

Where: Ansbach MHS will hold a hybrid graduation ceremony. The school prerecorded a standard graduation and will stream the graduation ceremony video at 1800 on June 2nd. The video will stream on facebook, then on youtube, and the link to the high definition video will be provided to the graduates.

At 1300 on June 2nd, the graduates will participate in a Car Parade through the Katterbach Housing Area. The parade will end in front of Ansbach MHS where the students will exit their vehicles and proceed to their socially distanced locations and participate in an abridged ceremony where the students will receive turn their tassels, toss their cap, and receive their diploma as well as their adopt-a-senior gift.

When: June 2nd 1300 – Graduate Car Parade – 1800 Streaming of Graduation Ceremony

Logistical Details: Hybrid Ceremony held in the courtyard of Ansbach MHS.

Order of Ceremony: Car Parade – Introduction of Graduates – Opening by Community Superintendent – Certification of Diplomas – Cap Toss – Awarding of Diplomas and Adopt-a-Senior Gift - Recessional
