Teacher Collaboration Program

The Collaboration program continues for School Year 2017-2018. Wiesbaden schools will implement a one-hour early release for students each Thursday for job-embedded professional learning and collaboration time. more information >>

Welcome to Hainerberg Elementary School

We are an English speaking school located in the beautiful spa town of Wiesbaden, Germany. There are 950 students at this school, pre-school through fifth grade. These students are from families who serve in the United States Army or work for the United States Department of Defense.

School Improvement Goals:

HES will increase student achievement for all students and support the implementation of CCRS as measured by standards based assessments.

HES will increase the effectiveness of weekly focused collaboration for all educators as measured by HES Focused Collaboration Minutes & Agenda Template.

School Hours:

  • Admin 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Secretary 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Instructional Day 8:10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Students arrive at 8:05 a.m.

Sure Start

  • 8:50 a.m. Students enter the building
  • 9 a.m. Instruction begins
  • 2:30 p.m. Dismissal

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade

  • 7:50 a.m. Students enter the building
  • 8:10 a.m. Instruction begins
  • 2:25 p.m. Dismissal for Kindergarten
  • 2:30 p.m. Dismissal for First through Fifth

It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent.
