Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC)

MLFCs are licensed counselors specializing in child and youth behavioral issues. MFLCs work at the school full time to provide a wide range of support to military children.

MFLCs help military students with:

  • School adjustment

  • Deployment and separation

  • Reunion adjustment

  • Sibling and parent-child communication

  • Behavioral concerns

  • Fear, grief, and loss


MFLC sessions and services are private and confidential with the exception of child abuse/neglect, domestic abuse and other duty-to-warn situations. No names or notes will be taken during MFLC sessions.
