Principal's Message: Nov 25

Happy Thanksgiving Raider Nation,

As we lead into a day of thanks I want to personally provide my sincerest appreciation to our Raider community. It is not lost on my how incredibly blessed I am to work with an amazing building of adults who loves what they do, who cares for students, and who makes the commitment for excellence each day. Further, I recognize that each day our building is filled with wonderful students. Sometimes they drive me crazy (LOL), but I love 'em none the less. Parents, thank you for being great partners in your child's education. We couldn't do it without you. I wish you a relaxing few days off, and trust you will take this time to recharge.

We have some information this week for you: You can find announcements by CLICKING ME:

1. We have a couple of staff members that will be joining us next week. Mrs. Stefanie Adams, our new assistant principal should be wrapping up her quarantine time in the next several days. She is already a great addition to our staff, so glad to have her join our team. Additionally, Mrs. Katina Campbell will be joining our science team. She is returning home somewhat, as she was previously worked for us a few years ago. She will be teaching Chemistry and Biology. Join me in welcoming them to our KHS family.

2. the KHS Senior Parent Association (SPA) will be selling Candy Grams December 1-4 and 7-11. They are $1 each, and will be delivered to classrooms on December 18th. Obviously, we'll attend to all COVID requirements for this event.

3. Hey Senior Parents, did you know that the deadline to order Senior Ads for the Yearbook is December 5th? CLICK ME for details
