Within the Force Protection Measures, it is highly recommended that students should not arrive at school until 0750 or remain after school when dismissed, with students in activities being the exception. Staff members do not arrive before 0750 so please help us protect your children.

The Office of Education Policy and Operations (HQ) in collaboration with the Civil Rights Program developed a proposed DoDEA-wide student dress code. The proposed dress code was developed by the Civil Rights Steering Committee and if approved, will be redlined into the updated Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy (DoDEA AI 1353.01). In an effort to ensure we have wide-spread stakeholder engagement, a 30 day commenting period is being offered to allow stakeholders an opportunity to review/comment on the proposed dress code. Goal 1: By the end of SY 2021-2022, Kaiserslautern Middle School will strengthen implementation of College and Career readiness for all students by ensuring all classrooms teaching Literacy skills reflect standards-based instruction as measured by performance on the DoDEA CCR Summative Assessment by 10% increase of students “meeting or exceeding expectations” over two years (5% increase SY 20-21 and an additional 5% increase SY 21-22).
