All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular & extra-curricular activities, whether they be athletic, academic or social in nature. These activities help to shape students and prepare them for success after high school as part of a well-rounded education. It is DoDEA policy that students have the "right to a public education of high quality, including the opportunity to participate in activities," in accordance with Executive Order 13160, DoDEA Administrative Instruction (Al) 2500.14 and Department of Defense Instruction 1342.12, "without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or status as a parent."
