New Students:

Parents requesting bus transportation services for their students will complete a registration form at the school.  The registrar will be responsible for emailing the form to the Transportation Office along with the student(s) school bus pass photo.

The Transportation Office will be responsible for determining if school bus services are authorized.  If so, the student will be assigned to the appropriate school bus. Questions concerning commuting area, determinations of service, etc. will be handled by the Transportation Office. The customer service telephone number is 246-8365 or by email at

The Transportation office will be responsible for delivering the student’s school bus pass to the school's registrar so that the student can pick it up.  This will include reprinting lost or damaged school bus passes.

The expectation is a 24 hour turn-around for printing and delivering new school bus passes to the school registrar. New students' bus passes can also be picked up at our Ikego office or may be given to the student's bus attendant or bus driver upon request.

All customers residing on or near the Ikego housing office can obtain the school bus services directly by visiting our new Ikego student transportation office.

Safety & Behavior

All students, faculty, and staff at Nile C. Kinnick High School are required to participate in annual bus safety training. Although Kinnick High School provides all possible assistance with bus safety and conduct, the Transportation Office oversees school busses.

Students should keep in mind that school bus service is a privilege, not an entitlement. If the privilege is abused, it will be denied to those abusing it.

Absences from school or tardiness to classes will be counted as unexcused due to the loss of school bus privileges.
