Club USA for Children of Deployed Parent(s)
Club USA helps support children as they go through the many changes that are occurring in our community and his/her family. Club USA addresses specific issues accompanied by having one or more parents deployed, including understanding a parent’s job, understanding the cultures where that parent is deployed, and what it means to be an American. Club USA helps children deal with the emotions often associated with the deployment of a parent including worry and anger.
For more deployment support check out FOCUS (Families Overcoming Under Stress) which is a family resiliency training program designed to promote resiliency in military children and families. This program is run by MCCS Okinawa.
