The Transition Ambassador Program is a student-centered program that relies on Student Ambassadors who will positively represent Kubasaki High School and help connect incoming students. The purpose of the program is to make transitioning students feel welcome and to show support for students who are departing KBHS. The Ambassador Program helps members of our school deal with the stresses of military life which can be very difficult along with schoolwork, trying to make friends, and learn our lifeways at KBHS. We strive to make our school a very welcoming place by showing new students around and connecting them with people who have similar interests. The program also helps to make departing students feel appreciated for their time here at KBHS and support them in their move.
Last week our Student Ambassadors and the Foster Teen Center welcomed the new students and played some getting to know you games. The Kubasaki drum line also played and raised the energy levels. The Transition Ambassador Program will be holding similar events and outings throughout the school year. Welcome new Dragons!
