In keeping with the DoDEA mission to provide an exemplary education that inspires and prepares all our students for success in a dynamic, global environment, the DoDEA Curriculum Content Standards and the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) provide the framework for academic excellence. Our curriculum translates the standards in to a sequenced series of statements about what students will learn through their school experiences.
Additional links pertaining to programs and standards can be found at the bottom of the right column or by visiting the DoDEA Curriculum Programs page.
Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood in DoDEA encompasses preschool through grade three, including children with disabilities.
Our District has established an Assistive Technology Lending Library, consisting of specialized software and devices, Reference Books, Videos, and Assessment Instruments. The Lending Library was created to provide a variety of resource materials for use by special educators. Items found in the Lending Library are available for short-term loan to any school within the Mediterranean District.
