Fourth and eighth-grade students attending Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools led the nation in scoring on the 2022 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Reading and Mathematics Assessments.

SMART Goal Literacy:

By the end of SY 2023-2024, grades 3-5 will increase by 5% students in the met or exceeded performance levels by and decrease by 3% students in the did not meet or partially met performance levels by 3% over two years and over two years as reported on the system-wide CCRSL Summative Assessment. By the end of SY 2023-2024, Landstuhl Elementary will strengthen Tier 1 literacy instruction for all students by ensuring all classrooms focus on CCR standards-based instruction and a guaranteed and viable curriculum (DoDEA adopted materials) as measured by a 10% increase from SY 22-23 baseline in the percentage of K-2 students meeting or exceeding expectations on Benchmark Advance End of Unit Assessments, and an increase in reading proficiency as measured by the Reading Proficiency Test (RPT).

 

SMART Goal Math:

By the end of SY 23-24, Landstuhl Elementary will strengthen Tier 1 math instruction for all students by ensuring all classrooms focus on CCR standards-based instruction, inclusive of the Standards of Mathematical Practice (SMPs), and a guaranteed and viable curriculum (DoDEA adopted materials) as measured by a 5%increase in the number of students meeting/exceeding standards on each Europe East End of Unit Assessment. DoDEA Accreditation

Accreditation is the act of granting credit or recognition (especially with respect to an educational institution that maintains suitable standards). Educational accreditation is a type of quality assurance process under which services and operations of educational institutions or programs are evaluated by an external agency to determine if applicable standards are met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the agency.
