October 18, 2021 National School Bus Safety Week, held during the third full week of October each year, focuses on the importance of school bus safety. The theme is, "Be Safe; Know the Danger Zone."

Thank you for providing input on the proposed DoDEA-wide student dress code. The commenting period has ended; however, the mailbox will remain open until October 29, 2021.

DoDEA appreciates the many comments that have been submitted.  This a great start to our working together to establish a DoDEA-wide dress code.  As the next step in this process, Education Policy and Operations Division (EdOps) in collaboration with the Civil Rights Program will present your feedback to the DoDEA Civil Rights Steering Group (CRSG) for consideration.

Our Mascot

The Lejeune High School mascot is the "Devilpup" after the proud Marine Corps "Devildog" history earned at the Battle of Belleau Wood in World War I.  The Germans named the marines "Teufel Hunden" for their courage and fighting ability.
