School Goals

Goal 1 – Professional Learning Communities/Focused Collaboration

  • The overall school PLC Rating Score on the Shared Vision Indicator will move from the implementation level of “Implementing” in SY 17-18 to “Developing” by SY 19-20, as measured on the 4-Category PLC Self-Assessment Form.
  • The overall school PLC Rating Score on the Team Norms Indicator will move from the implementation level of “Implementing” in SY 17-18 to “Developing” by SY 19-20, as measured on the 4-Category PLC Self-Assessment Form.

Goal 2 – School Climate & Culture

  • The score on the Teacher Expectation Component will move from the “Not Healthy” category in SY 17-18 to the “Somewhat Healthy” category in SY 19-20, as measured on the Teacher Climate and Culture Assessment using the 3 Category Healthy Rating Scale.

Goal 3 – Mathematics

  • All students in grades 3-8 at Maxwell EMS will increase their achievement in Math as measured by the 5-Category rating scale on the CCRS Summative Assessment in performance levels 4 and 5 from 69% in SY 17-18 to 75% in SY 19-20.

Goal 4 – Literacy

  • All students in Grades 6-8 at Maxwell EMS will increase their achievement in Literacy as measured by the 5-Category rating scale on the CCRS Summative Assessment in performance levels 4 and 5 from 76% in SY 17-18 to 81% in SY 19-20.

It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent.

To report a student absence, email the school attendance clerk or call the school as soon as possible. You may report a student absence before the occurrence, if you know in advance your student will be out.

Tuesdays are Early Release days


Reminder: There is a 15 MPH speed limit in all housing areas on base. When dropping off students, please do so at the carpool lane on Magnolia Boulevard rather than in the circle at the school's front entrance. After dropping off your student, please proceed to the end of Magnolia and follow the circle around in order to turn around. Do not turn around in the parking area adjacent to the drop-off lane or at the crosswalk. Thank you for making every effort to keep our children safe.
