Greetings Naples School Community:
I am very excited at the opportunity to serve as the new principal of Naples Middle High School, and I can’t wait to begin my work with students and the school staff. My goal is to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and our community in order to create a great place to learn and work. A strong home-school partnership is critical to our students’ success; together, we will create great opportunities for our kids. As a former military brat and DoDEA student, I understand the unique lives that our students experience and I am confident that I can help to provide a positive educational experience for them at Naples MHS.
My vision is simple, and it is directly aligned with the mission of DoDEA, “Educate, Engage, Empower each student to succeed in a dynamic world.” This means that I have high expectations that all students in our school can learn and achieve academic success. The basic principle guiding all of my decisions and actions must be our collective belief that all students can and will learn. DoDEA’s core instructional belief is in the delivery of differentiated small group and guided instruction. Research shows that instruction incorporating a variety of instructional strategies, multiple entry points for student learners, and differentiated instruction to meet individual learning styles promotes highest student achievement. We are committed to providing quality instruction that meets the needs of all our learners at Naples MHS.
