Below are the clubs for the 2019-2020 school year. Dates and times are subject to change. Check with your child's teacher for an application. Please note that some clubs have limited enrollment.

Art Club

Any NES family can participate in Family Art Days.

Broadcast Club

Students produce the Netzaberg Morning show by assigning roles, writing scripts, directing, and reading on camera.  

Meeting Time: 7:45-8:05

Open To: 4th & 5th Grades

Additional Info: New club members are selected each quarter.

Choir/Music Club

The Netzaberg Elementary School Choir is an enrichment music program for students in grades 4 & 5 who love to sing and perform.  We will perform at the school as well as in our local community.

Homework Club

Students attend homework club to work in a quiet environment.  Students only need to attend club when homework help is required.  Once a student's homework is complete, s/he will be released to home or SAS.

LEGO Robotics Club

Using Simple Machines LEGO Education sets, students will learn about engineering, teamwork, perseverance, and the role simple machines play in our everyday life.  Brick, by brick, we'll learn about gears, levers, pulleys, and more.  This is a competitive club in which members will compete with their creations against creations from other DoDEA schools.

Reading Club

Students will participate in a reading enrichment program where they will read literature (fiction) and informational (non-fiction) texts.  Students will read and discuss each text.  The week's reading will culminate with a related hands-on activity.

STEAM Club

Students will participate in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities through fun, engaging, hands-on experiments.

Student Council

The Student Council will be based on setting and working towards goals, along with truthfulness, helpfulness, being an inspiration to others, and being kind to ourselves, peers teachers, and the community.

Yearbook Club

Students will learn how to create a yearbook during this club  All students must follow safety rules when using the computer lab.  Members will design, edit, and proof yearbook pages.
