Administrative and Logistic Responsibilities for DoD Dependents Schools
The DoDDS mission is to provide a quality educational program from kindergarten through grade 12 for eligible dependents of U.S. Military, DoD civilian, and other eligible personnel stationed in overseas areas, to provide a free appropriate public education for children with disabilities, age 3 to 21, and to operate a community college program for eligible dependents in Panama.

It is DoD policy to establish the DoD Student Meal Program in all overseas areas, where practicable.
