Joseph Myles named assistant principal of Robert D. Edgren High School

The Japan District Superintendent’s Office is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Joseph Myles as the new Assistant Principal of Robert D. Edgren High School in Misawa, Japan.
Mr. Myles’ educational background consists of bachelor's and master's degrees in Management of Human Resources, Educational Endorsement, School Administration, and a specialist’s degree in Educational Leadership.  Prior to joining DoDEA, Mr. Myles served for six years as Principal at J.D. Davis Elementary School in Columbus, Georgia. His teaching experience began as a sixth grade science teacher at Johnson Elementary School, and he then served as assistant principal at Britt David Computer Magnet Academy in Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Myles is committed to building relationships that promote positive student advancement.
Mr. Myles is a U.S. Army veteran of 21 years of service. He is married to Marian Sterling Myles, a federal employee, who will be joining him shortly. They are the proud parents of six sons.
