Department of Defense Education Activity

Okinawa District Advisory Council (ODAC)

The DoDEA Pacific South District provides several avenues for you to get involved with the education and well being of our students as well as in improving our schools.

Community Partnership

Okinawa District Advisory Council (ODAC)

The Okinawa District Advisory Council (ODAC) consists of members from each branch of military service. School Liaison Officers, school representatives, and parent representatives participate in the meetings as well. ODAC meetings are held four times a year and all community members are welcome to attend. Please see our district calendar for meeting dates.

To Volunteer

Our schools have many volunteer opportunities available to parents eager to get involved with their student's education or for other interested community members. In order to volunteer with our schools individuals must have a security background check completed as well as fill out a volunteer package. To get started with this process please contact the school you are interested in volunteering with to pick up a volunteer package for that school.
