Our CSI Reading and Math Goals

Reading

  • Pre-Kindergarten students will increase their retelling achievement on the PreKindergarten Teacher-created Assessment Tool from 80% in SY 2017-2018 to 85% scoring proficient as measured by Pre-Kindergarten grade levelexpectations for SY 2019-2020.
  •  Kindergarten students will increase their reading achievement on the Benchmark Assessment System (BAS) from 77% scoring “at or above” in SY 2017-2018 to 80% in SY 2019-2020 scoring “at or above” as measured by kindergarten grade level expectations for the “Independent Level” on Benchmark Assessment System.
  •  First grade students will demonstrate an increase in reading achievement on the Benchmark Assessment System (BAS) from 72% scoring “at or above” in SY 2017-2018 to 77% in SY 2019-2020 scoring “at or above” as measured by 1st grade level expectations for the “Independent Level” on the Benchmark Assessment System.

Math

  • Pre-kindergarten students will increase their identification of numerals to 10 and show one-to-one correspondence from 29% on the SY 2018-2019 beginning of the year on baseline teacher made assessment to 40% scoring proficiency as measured by the SY 2018-2019 end-of-year teacher made assessment.
  • Kindergarten students will increase their performance percentage in Operations and Algebraic Thinking Domain from 5% scoring proficient (80% or higher) on the beginning of SY 2018-2019 to 10% scoring proficient (80% or higher) by the end of SY 2018-2019 as measured by the Go Math PARCC Benchmark Assessment.
  • First students will increase their performance percentage in Operations and Algebraic Thinking Domain from 4% scoring proficient (80% or higher) on the beginning of SY 2018-2019 to 9% scoring proficient (80% or higher) by the end of SY 2018-2019 as measured by the Go Math PARCC Benchmark Assessment.
