The primary role of the Fort Jackson School Board is to participate in the development and oversight of fiscal, personnel and educational policies, procedures and programs for the Fort Jackson schools. School Boards also perform a number of other duties, roles and responsibilities in support of the Community and District Superintendents. Starting Monday, February 22, 2021, we will be accepting nominations for the Fort Jackson School Board. You may nominate a candidate for the School Board by completing the Nomination Form and returning via email by Monday, March 1, 2021.

Reading
By End of School Year 2020-2021, 80% of pre-kindergarten students will perform within the Creative Curriculum progressions of development and learning levels 4-6 when comprehending and responding to books and other texts (ODL 18c) using the Intentional Teaching Card LL06.
60% of the Kindergarten students will meet or exceed grade level proficiency on the Reading Proficiency Tool Assessment by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
60% of the first grade students will meet or exceed grade level proficiency on the Reading Proficiency Tool Assessment by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
60% of the second grade students will meet or exceed grade level proficiency on the Reading Proficiency Tool Assessment by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Math
Pre-Kindergarten students will perform within the Creative Curriculum progressions of development and learning levels 4-6 when using number concepts and operations (ODL 20b), using the Intentional Teaching Card M16 by the EOY 2019-2021.
56% of students in Kindergarten will meet expectations (Performance Level 3) on the SY 2020-2021 Americas End-of-Year Summative Assessment.
56% of students in First Grade will meet expectations (Performance Level 3) on the SY 2020-2021 Americas End-of-Year Summative Assessment.
56% of students in Second Grade will meet expectations (Performance Level 3) on the SY 2020-2021 Americas End-of-Year Summative Assessment.
