Department of Defense Education Activity
All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities whether they be athletic, academic or social in nature. These activities help to shape students and prepare them for the future as part of a well rounded education.

School clubs are a great way to develop new interests and to make new friends. Students can select these activities based on their interests. Several teachers are the sponsors and coordinate the programs with parents, students, and community volunteers. We provide the following clubs/activities:

Chess Club

Students will learn the game of chess with a competition at year's end. The club meets on Mondays.

Open To: 1st - 5th

Drama Club

Students will develop skills to perform in front of an audience. All students will act, sing, and dance on stage to perform a culminating musical for the school and their families. The club meets on Wednesdays. 

Open To: Fall Grades 2nd - 5th, Spring Grades 1st - 5th

Page Turners

Students will participate in authentic reading experiences through discussion with peers and create fun book trailers for the school using our green screen technology. The club meets during lunch. 

Open To: 2nd - 5th

Robotics Club

Students will learn to program and compete in robotics Lego Mindstorms competition. The club meets on Wednesdays. 

Open To: Grades 4th & 5th

Technology Club

Students will explore digital tools, explore programs, collaborate, and problem solve with technology. The club meets on Tuesdays.

Open To: Fall Grades 3rd - 5th and Spring 1st - 2nd
