Mr. Kennth Kirk is the Principal of Rota Elementary School. Prior to this assignment he served as the administrator of Livorno E/MS, Camp Darby, Italy and as principal of Ramey Unit School in Puerto Rico.
Before pursuing administration, Mr. Kirk practiced school psychology for seven years in Arizona and North Carolina. He joined DoDEA in 2011 as a school psychologist for Quantico Schools in Virginia.
Mr. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Kentucky, a Masters in Science and a Specialist degree in School Psychology from Winthrop University, and a Masters degree in School Administration from North Carolina State University.
Mr. Kirk believes in the academic success of all students. Strong partnerships and collaborative teams, data-driven instruction, and the implementation of rigorous and standards-based education programs are the cornerstones of his philosophy.
Mr. Kirk feels privileged to join the dedicated group of professionals at Rota Elementary, serving students and their families. He will be accompanied by his wife, Stephanie, and their three young daughters.
