The boys soccer needs parental support on game days and certainly during the tournament May 18-21. I hope that we will have a JV team and will hear in the next 12-24 hours if that will happen. We will have a very strong team this year and I'm looking forward to competing against the big schools.
Reminders:
1. Every training day, players need four layers of clothing on their upper bodies:

FIRST Robotics way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
The robot kit is reusable from year to year and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams design and build robots, raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards. Participants are eligible to apply for $80M+ in college scholarships.
Each season concludes with regional championship events and an exciting FIRST Championship.

The Honors Music program offers 68 student instrumentalists and 80 vocalists the opportunity to gather together for 5 days to study a variety of band and choral music. After a period of intensive rehearsals conducted by two of America's finest conductors, the students present a concert with a combined band and choral finale. The concert is performed in the Wiesbaden area. The large audience consists of Americans and Germans from the local communities. Students apply through their local high school by submitting a recorded audition. A committee composed of music teachers from DoDEA-Europe schools selects participants.
