Sembach Middle School: Home of the Tigers!

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Sembach Middle School, welcome.  We are a small school of around 180 students in grades 4 through 8.  The staff and faculty of Sembach MS are dedicated to providing your student(s) with a high quality, standards-based instructional program, as well as many  opportunities to develop your child's interests and abilities.  Our fourth and fifth grades are run as an elementary program, with separate lunch/recess times as well as specials (electives).  Our middle school is run as a traditional 7-period day, with 46 minutes per class and 4 minutes passing time between classes.

Frequent communication between the home and school is essential in promoting highest student achievement!  We encourage parents to immediately contact their child's teacher with any questions or concerns at DSN 545-1300  or CIV 06111-430545-1300 or via e-mail. Another means of communication is the Student Information System, Grade Speed, which allows parents to monitor their children's attendance and grades. This program also has a note feature you can use to directly contact your child's teacher(s).  Lastly, my door is always can visit,  call or email me any time with your concerns.

Communication also fosters greater parent involvement. The school newsletter is published several times per week to keep families informed about school events and activities. We invite you to become involved at Sembach Middle School by volunteering, frequently visiting the school, eating lunch with your child and/or joining the Parent Teacher Organization.

We look forward to seeing you at Sembach Middle School and working together to provide an exemplary educational program for your child.
