Three Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Schools were recognized recently by U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy Devos as 2019 National Blue Ribbon Schools.

The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take the steps now toward finding a career that’s right for you. Sign up today to take advantage of this free test. It will be given at Sigonella Middle High School on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1330. If your student is interested in taking the ASVAB, please have them sign up in the main office with Mrs. Estes no later than Thursday, November 7, 2019. A military representative will administer the test and students will need to give their SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER at the time of the test. The test is free and is a great opportunity for our students! There will be another opportunity to take the ASVAB on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

School Improvement Goals

Goal One: By the end of School Year 2019-2020, student access to rigorous instruction will increase as measured by the percent of “observed” for the DoDEA Walkthrough Tool indicators 9 and 12, and increased student participation in gifted, honors and advanced class programs.

Goal Two:  By the end of school year 2019-2020, all instructional stakeholders will be able to effectively utilize and share data-informed teaching practices in the classroom as measured by online DoDEA-CAS Course completion, the DoDEA Tool for Collaboration, and the Learning Walkthrough Tool.
