This activity is open fourth through sixth grade students.
Chorus is offered to students from the 4th - the 6th grade.
Dragon News Network or DNN is a club for students from 4th - 6th grade to help create, edit, and publish the Morning announcement presentations. For the 2019-2020 school year, the club may also assist the grade levels in preparing their digital display presentations.
The Happy Planning Club members learn to become more organized while having fun doing scrapbooking, photography and drawing. This club is open to students in Grades 4-6.
Soroban is a manual calculator. Students practice addition and subtraction in written and oral form. The students practice very hard to prepare for an annual Soroban contest in June.
The members of Safety Patrol provide an important service to the school by assisting students, parents and community members in getting to and from school in a safe manner. Safety Patrol meets in the morning and the afternoons.
5th and 6th-grade students are recruited as crossing guards on the basis of citizenship, reliability, and responsibility. Experienced patrols are groomed as officers and provided leadership opportunities: organization, decision-making, setting the proper example.
The robotics club is open to fifth and sixth grade students and uses the Lego Mindstorms EV3 kits. It is a member of the First Lego League. After learning the basics of the EV3 kits, the club members use their creativity and problem solving skills to solve various challenges using the robots.
Council members are elected each year. Our student council works on many projects, both for our school and the world community at large.
