Dragon Tales - 10/24

Dear Dragon Nation!

Happy Thanksgiving! We would like to wish all of our staff, students, and families a great day and long weekend!

Remember, there is no school on Thursday or Friday. School resumes on Monday, November 28th

Please don’t forget it’s time to turn in influenza vaccinations. They are due on December 1st, unless you already have an appointment. The immunization clinic is open for walk ins daily from 1530 1630 and Wednesday from 1400 1600.

Please be careful when dropping off your child in the morning. The staff parking lot is closed at 0740 daily and should not be where you drop off your child for the safety of everyone. Please utilize parking and then walk your child up to the school. Remember if they are late, after 0800, a parent must escort them into the building. Please do not knock on outside doors to let them in. We need to follow our safety protocols. Thank you!

Please check our lost and found! It’s overflowing with jackets and coats. Please mark your child’s name on their coat and hat and gloves, so we can get them back. As parents, we know how expensive it can get having to replace them often. With the weather turning colder and probably our first snow is coming soon, please layer on so that they can dress for outside and then for inside when it’s warmer.

Big shout out to Mrs. Peterson, the 5th grade teachers, and the 5th grade students for their wonderful Veterans Day song. If you haven’t seen it, then please check out our Facebook page.

We still have several jobs open at the school through www.USAJOBS.gov , if you are interested.

Again, have a restful and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday! Winter break is just around the corner!

Go Dragons!
