Congratulations to Spangdahlem High School senior Chloe Price. Chloe recently accepted an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. West Point, along with the other Service Academies, are considered amongst the 10 hardest universities to get into. The application checklist for West Point is intimidating. Applicants are not only judged on demonstrated academic ability, but also leadership and physical fitness. One must also receive a nomination from a United States Congressman or Senator. Students attending West Point are given a full-ride, all-expenses paid education and are commissioned as an officer in the Army upon graduation. Chloe Price is currently the Cadet Deputy Commander of the Air Force JROTC program at SpHS.
