By implementing the College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS) which are modeled after the Common Core State Standards. In both Literacy and Mathematics, 6 major shifts will be implemented to to increase student learning and achievement.

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) offers a rigorous program of instruction in academic survial skills and college level readiness skills. This college preparatory program teaches students how to study, read for content, take notes, and manage time.

The Overseas School Health Nurses Association (OSHNA) is awarding its annual nursing scholarship to a high school senior, attending an international or DoDEA high school. The $1000 scholarship will go to a deserving student pursuing a degree in nursing.
