The DoDEA nomination period will begin at the end of each school year and run through the beginning of the following school year. Nominations for DoDEA PoY may be submitted by students, teachers, parents, DoDEA leadership, and military community members. (DoDEA Principals may not self-nominate.)

Those who wish to nominate a DoDEA principal should complete the appropriate nomination form and submit it to the correct Regional point of contact email box prior to the nomination submission deadline.

Please refer to the qualification section to determine the best nomination form to submit.

1) Identify the correct form based on the school configuration:
School Configuration Nomination Form
PK-5, PK-6, PK-2, K-4, K-5, K-6, 3-5, 2-6, 4-5 Elementary/Middle School form
6-12, 9-12, 7-12, 8-12 Middle/High School form
K-8, K-12, 6-8, 5-8, 7-8  Either form may be utilized*
