Vogelweh Elementary School (VES) is an exciting place for young children to learn and grow. Every day, our students engage in meaningful learning experiences that help them make connections to the wonderful world around them. We strive to challenge your children intellectually, grow them socially, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving.
At VES students actively participate in lessons and activities that support growth in the areas of reading, writing, math, science and social studies lessons. They also receive meaningful instruction from specialists of Art, Music, PE, Spanish, and German Culture/Language.
The school counselors work with students to develop desirable personal characteristics such as responsibility and citizenship. The VES PTSA Members are strong advocates who provide innovative programs for all VES Students. They support every aspect of our learning community and offer multiple avenues for parent involvement in the school. We encourage all VES parents to become members of this amazing school/home partnership advocacy group.
Our teachers and staff members truly wish to build a strong partnership based on two-way communication. We know that, with the school and the family working together, we can build a strong foundation for educational success for every VES student. The mission of DoDEA and VES is to Educate, Engage, and Empower each student to succeed in a dynamic world. We invite you to become our partners in this important mission!
