Yokota MS: School Activities

At Dahlgren School, we have created a co-curricular program that is student-centered and therefore one that kids want to be a part of. Activities are driven by student interest and may change yearly. To identify varying interests, we are constantly soliciting recommendations from students. Participation rates are extremely high and hopefully there is an activity to suit each student. By keeping students involved after school, we are choosing to lead our school toward a happier and healthier learning environment.

Academic Eligibility Requirement for Grades 5-8

Students in grades 5-8 must meet the following requirements to be eligible to participate in extra-curricular activities:

  • Maintain a "C" or higher in each class
  • Attend school with at least a 95% attendance rate.

Yokota Middle School Library's Maker Space is designed to empower students to build, explore, invent, and create. Students in the Maker Club can use the tools and supplies in the Maker Space to work on projects and participate in workshops.
