Mr. Edgar Tuttle
Biography
Mr. Tuttle will concurrently serve as Acting Chief of Staff and as Chief of Logistics for DoDEA Americas Southeast District, headquartered in Fort Benning, GA where he is responsible for ensuring student excellence and logistics operations for 24 schools, to nearly 10,000 military-connected students, on eight military installations in 4 states across 2 time zones. He is responsible for Forward Integrated Support Team (FIST) related matters, including School Management Plan (SMP), Facilities and maintenance, Property control, Student Meals, Transportation, which includes Student Transportation and GSA Fleet Management. He is the Accountable Property Officer (APO) overseeing the Property Book Officer (PBO). Â He is the coordinator for installation level Inter Service Support Agreements (ISSA), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for DoDEA Southeast District and our military installation enterprise partners for eight installations.
Mr. Tuttle began his career as a Department of Defense Civilian employee in 2003.
Mr. Tuttle's education includes a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.
Mr. Tuttle retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Mr. Tuttle and his wife have four adult children, and one grandchild.Â
