Dr. Tina Mitchell
Biography
Dr. Tina Mitchell, a proud native of Selma Alabama. With 15 years of experience, she is a dedicated educational leader committed to fostering student success and academic excellence. Dr. Mitchell has served as both a classroom teacher and an assistant principal, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a student-centered approach to every role.
She began her academic journey at Fayetteville State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with honors. Driven by a passion for leadership, she continued her studies at the same institution, completing a Master’s in School Administration (magna cum laude) and later achieving a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Mitchell’s career also includes six years of service in the United States Army, reflecting her commitment to excellence and adaptability in all environments.
Dr. Mitchell believes that every child deserves a chance to succeed and lives by the principle that “all things are possible to those who believe.” She is married and the proud mother of two sons, and she continues to inspire students, staff, and families through her unwavering dedication to education and leadership.
