Europe Regional Advisory Committee
Working collectively to enhance educational programs
The Region Advisory Committee for Europe is called the European Schools Council. The ESC is a formal mechanism for the DoWEA Europe Director and representative members of key stakeholder groups to foster communication, facilitate problem solving, and provide recommendations to the Dependents Education Council (DEC) as appropriate. Members of the RAC work collectively to enhance and improve the delivery of educational programs and support services to DoWEA students.
Members rotate every two years with the exception of military command representatives.

- Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR)

- Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)
- United States Africa Command (USAAFRICOM)
- United States Marine Corp Forces Europe & Africa (USMARFOR-EUR)
- Each Service (i.e., Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps) has a School Liaison Officer (SLO) that is present at meetings; however, they are not members.
