Europe's Holiday Message 2025/2026

Dear DoDEA Europe Students, Families, and Teachers,

As we enter the holiday season, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to each of you. Your dedication, support, and partnership play a vital role in helping our school communities flourish. Our students continue to show remarkable resilience, curiosity, and determination—qualities that shine brightly, especially during this special time of year, thanks to the encouragement and care they receive from families and teachers alike.

This year has brought exciting opportunities as well as challenges, yet together we have ensured that our schools remain places where students feel safe, inspired, and empowered to learn. Thank you, teachers, for your professionalism, creativity, and commitment to student success. Thank you, families, for your guidance and encouragement, and thank you, students, for the hard work, kindness, and leadership you show each day. May this season be filled with warmth, laughter, and memorable moments with your loved ones.

Looking ahead, there is much to celebrate in the coming months. We are excited for our first graduating class eligible to earn the Seal of Biliteracy—a testament to the dedication of our students, families, and teachers. Our winter and spring athletics seasons will continue to showcase student talent and the vibrant school communities that make DoDEA Europe so special. Elementary and middle school students will also have opportunities to shine through classroom projects, performances, and school-wide events that celebrate learning, creativity, and teamwork. And of course, the Class of 2026 is preparing for an unforgettable conclusion to their academic journey—an achievement made possible through the hard work and support of students, teachers, and families alike.

After the New Year, we will have a lot of important work ahead to finish the school year strong. Together, with dedication and focus, we can ensure that every student continues to grow, achieve, and make the most of these remaining months.

I wish you a holiday season filled with peace, joy, and moments of renewal. The new year ahead is full of promise, and I am excited to continue this journey of learning, growth, and success together.
