The 2022-2023 school year is upon us and we remain flexible to meet any contingency.  We recognize that face-to-face instruction and continuity of education, along with the routines of school are a critical quality of life component for military families and communities. 

DoDEA has put in place numerous safety requirements and precautionary measures that follow CDC and DOD guidance to the greatest extent possible to ensure employees and students are protected. Physical distancing, face coverings, and other mitigations are important tools to protect the health of our students, staff, and families as we pursue our mission.

We have rolled out a new digital school handbook that remains up to date and can be easily referenced and printed. This document overhaul simplifies the handbook update process allowing our, and other DoDEA schools, to maintain accurate information. How can parents get their children ready for a new school year?

All of us in DoDEA want to ensure parents and students have all the resources they need be safe and to succeed.

It is critical that parents help us as we return to school by establishing good hygiene and heathy behaviors at home and by setting an expectation that your child will do the same at school.

Handwashing, use of sanitizer, social distancing, wearing of face coverings, and other heathy practices will help ensure the well-being of all students and staff. Above all, if your child is sick, keep them home and get medical attention if necessary.
