DoDEA Pacific announces Fall Far East Champions
Okinawa, Japan – The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific Region’s fall athletic season for the 2025-26 school year has concluded. The season’s culminating Far East competitions in football, volleyball, cross country, and tennis determined the top Division 1 and Division 2 teams in the region.

“It takes a lot to get to Far East – early mornings, late nights, and a lot of dedication,” said Tom McKinney, DoDEA Pacific Athletics Coordinator. “Our student athletes and coaches put in the work all season long, and it really showed in every match, meet, and game. Their dedication is what makes these competitions so special.”
The 2025-26 Fall Far East Champions are as follows:
Football
- D1 – Humphreys High School
- D2 – Yokota High School
Volleyball
- D1 – Kubasaki High School
- D2 – Christian Academy of Japan
Cross Country
- D1 – Guam High School
- D2 – Yokota High School
Tennis
- Boys D1 – Nile C. Kinnick High School
- Boys D2 – Yokota High School
- Girls D1 – Humphreys High School
- Girls D2 – Zama Middle High School
- Overall D1 – Humphreys High School
- Overall D2 – Zama Middle High School
