DoWEA Americas launches new parent feedback webpage
DoWEA Americas has launched a new webpage designed to make it easier for parents to share questions, ideas and feedback about their children’s schools.
The “Giving Us Your Input” page helps parents connect with the right resource based on their needs.
“Families are encouraged to first contact a teacher or school administrator, as they are the closest connection to the student,” said DoWEA Americas Director Matthew Kirby. “For wider school-related suggestions and feedback, we encourage families to participate in their School Advisory Committees or share their ideas through the Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) system.”
ICE responses are reviewed by the DoWEA Americas Region Office and help inform ongoing efforts to enhance services for military-connected students and families. Schools are grouped by district – Americas Mid-Atlantic and Americas Southeast – so a family can find its school easily.
The new webpage also includes links to advisory groups that support DoWEA Americas.
This initiative supports the DoWEA Blueprint for Continuous Improvement by strengthening communication, increasing family engagement and promoting service excellence across the region.
Parents and sponsors can learn more and access the new resource by visiting the Giving Us Your Input page on the DoWEA Americas website: Giving Us Your Input.
