Mr. Xavier K. Brown
Mr. Xavier Brown received the DoDEA Employee of the Quarter for second-quarter 2025.
Brown manages student transportation logistics, including registration, route planning, contract oversight, and coordination of academic and extracurricular travel. Despite receiving less than 30 days of training, he volunteered to support a vacant Student Transportation Office serving multiple European communities, including Brussels, Mons, Volkel, and Eindhoven.
His efforts during the 2024–2025 school year included successfully coordinating 59 school trips, transporting 1,773 students across five countries, and managing 48 contracts totaling over $129,000—all with minimal errors and no cancellations.
Brown proactively addressed community engagement gaps by visiting Volkel Air Base, meeting with School Liaison Officers, attending a town hall, and resolving transportation concerns. He issued updated bus passes, inspected operations, evaluated contractors, and followed up on all inquiries, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness. His dedication was recognized with a Commander’s Achievement Coin for Excellence.
Additionally, Brown supported a town hall at RAF Mildenhall, helping 41 families relocate while ensuring uninterrupted transportation services. His work has significantly improved logistics and community relations across the district. Mr. Brown’s initiative, reliability, and leadership set a high standard for excellence in service. His performance exemplifies the values and mission of DoDEA.
