Ms. Veronica A. Tesser
Ms. Veronica Tesser received Employee of the Quarter for her exceptional contributions to the Human Resources Division. She played a leading role in launching the Human Resources Service Desk (HRSD), establishing requirements, testing the system, and creating user guides and knowledge articles.
Ms. Tesser provided extensive training and support to HR staff, offering both group sessions and one on one guidance to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform. Her efforts significantly improved customer service responsiveness, enabling most inquiries to be resolved within two days or less.
Ms. Tesser improved transparency and operational efficiency by providing staff and leadership with streamlined access to track and manage tickets, an enhancement that proved especially critical during times of reduced staffing. She also enhanced customer accessibility by replacing generic inboxes with direct, personalized communication channels.
Ms. Tesser consistently identified opportunities to streamline processes and improve the user experience, demonstrating remarkable initiative and dedication, including late night support for overseas teams. Her leadership was instrumental in the successful HRSD launch, which processed more than 700 inquiries within its first two months.
Her work directly supports DoDEA’s goals for operational excellence and improved communication, strengthening HR’s ability to serve the entire agency.
