Mr. Jose A. Dominguez
Mr. Jose Dominguez has been selected as the Employee of the Quarter for his exceptional service and leadership. Serving both Bechtel Elementary School and Ryukyu Middle School, he successfully managed a demanding dual-campus assignment supporting approximately 700 students and 86 staff members.
He consistently exceeded expectations by overseeing administrative operations, fiscal management, logistics, facilities coordination, and emergency preparedness across both schools. During a period of reduced clerical staffing, Mr. Dominguez ensured uninterrupted operations by implementing effective coverage systems that maintained continuity of services.
Dominguez demonstrated outstanding fiscal stewardship by managing approximately $114,000 in combined budgets with full compliance, accountability, and alignment to mission priorities. Mr. Dominguez also led critical facility modernization efforts, including security upgrades, HVAC improvements, and infrastructure enhancements that strengthened safety and operational readiness.
In addition, he played a key role in the development of a new campus for Bechtel Elementary School, ensuring operational requirements were integrated into long-term planning and decision-making. He managed logistics and coordination for more than 20 major school and community events, while enhancing emergency preparedness and safety protocols across both campuses.
His proactive leadership extended beyond normal duties, including after-hours responses to facility issues and direct support to ensure safe, efficient school operations. Mr. Dominguez’s exceptional initiative, dedication, and measurable impact on mission success make him highly deserving of Employee of the Quarter recognition.
