Ms. Stephanie El Sayed named DoWEA Europe South District Chief of Staff

Dr. Michelle Howard-Brahaney, Director for Student Excellence at DoWEA-Europe, is pleased to announce the selection of Stephanie El Sayed as Chief of Staff for DoWEA Europe South District effective Oct. 4, 2026.
El Sayed has dedicated more than 35 years to serving military-connected students, staff, and families. In her new role she will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the operations of 16 schools in four countries across two time zones supporting approximately 6,000 students.
El Sayed began her DoWEA career as a teacher in Nürnberg, Germany, and has since held leadership roles across Italy, Germany, Bahrain, Spain. Most recently, she served as the Europe South District Community Superintendent and Family and Stakeholder Engagement Officer.
“Throughout her career, Ms. El Sayed has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to student success, excellence in leadership, and meaningful engagement with our military-connected communities,” said Howard-Brahaney. “Her extensive experience across multiple countries and roles has prepared her well for this position, and I am confident she will make an immediate and lasting impact as the South district Chief of Staff. We are fortunate to have her leadership supporting the continued success of DoWEA Europe.”
El Sayed said she is honored to continue advancing student success, supporting educators, strengthening partnerships with families and communities, and furthering the mission of the DoWEA Europe South District.
