Publication of DoDEA AI 5050.05 Renewal Agreement Travel Program
This issuance was approved on June 21, 2024. It is effective for travel beginning on or after August 1, 2024. It is published at the Policy Website.
This Issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and identifies the requirements for the DoDEA Renewal Agreement Travel (RAT) Program for Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) personnel. This Issuance implements procedures for determining eligibility, processing requests, and processing travel vouchers in accordance with references listed in this Issuance.
The new publication incorporates and cancels: DoDEA Directive-Type Memorandum 17-HRD-001, “Guidance on Renewal Agreement Travel for Employees on 222 Work Day Schedules,” May 9, 2017, and DoDEA Pacific Directive-Type Memorandum 18-PAC-006, “Use of Commercial Travel Office (CTO) for Ticketing Renewal Agreement Travel (RAT) and Education Travel (EDT),” January 16, 2019, as amended.
