This issuance was signed on September 10, 2026. In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 1342.20, this issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for the development, coordination, approval, publication, and review of Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) issuances.  Additionally, this issuance establishes the Office of DoWEA Policy Webpage as the official DoWEA source for issuances, and establishes the Office of DoWEA Policy SharePoint as the official system by which issuances are processed, coordinated, receive legal sufficiency review, and published records are maintained. This issuance outlines the entire lifecycle of an issuance, including its development, coordination, approval, publication, and review. Please contact Operations, Plans, Legislation, and Policy with any questions.
