Honor Roll

The Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) Donald H. Golaszewski Certificate for Policy Writing is presented to staff who exemplify commitment and excellence in policy writing. This Certificate is posthumously named in honor of Mr. Donald H. Golaszewski who, as the DoWEA Safety Officer, determinedly pursued the actions required to compose, coordinate, and publish high-quality, timely, and lasting policy.  Don's policy work was the first to successfully meet the demands of an ongoing, multi-year effort to update agency policies.  His efforts continue to be an inspiration to DoWEA policy writers and all those involved in the current DoWEA Issuance Management Program.  The development and maintenance of DoWEA policy remains a vital and fundamental endeavor and is the critical foundational element from which it successfully accomplishes its global mission.
